CBT - not just talking!

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented approach that focuses on helping clients actively identify and change their unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.

Unlike traditional “talking therapy,” CBT emphasizes active participation, including exercises, practising new skills between sessions, and tracking their progress toward specific goals.

This hands-on involvement empowers clients to take an active role in their own growth, developing practical life-long tools to manage challenges both in, and outside of, therapy.

Soundbathing

Soundbaths and other vibrational healing therapies use wave frequencies to relax and restore the balance of body and mind.

During a soundbath, instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, or chimes are played to create soothing sounds and gentle vibrations that wash over you.

Specific frequencies can slow down brain waves, reduce stress, and promote deep relaxation, similar to meditative states.

Attuned bowls are often used as their vibrations transmit throughout the body, resonating through the water in every cell, helping release tension and improve energy flow, encouraging a sense of peace, clarity, and well-being through the power of sound.

Energetic Healing

Every living thing has an energy field.

Experiments with plants show that when any part is cut, the whole plant’s energy field changes in response. This supports the idea that living beings, including humans, have an energy field (biofield) around and within them.

Understood intuitively through generations in ancient cultures, today's scientists are exploring how this biofield works using quantum physics, vibrational field mechanics and EEG brainwave states.

Ongoing research aims to better understand how this energy plays a role in healing, but knowledge is not necessary on the part of the one being healed - it has worked for thousands of years.
